This year we are kicking off the week of International Women's Day with a Fireside Chat featuring Tammy Rea in conversation with CSMPS Board Director, Sharon Choi. Owning the Room - How Women Lead with Confidence, Presence and Voice will focus on stepping into leadership with authenticity, presence, and voice—without shrinking, apologizing, or underselling ourselves.

Drawing on more than 35 years of leadership experience in personal and business banking, Tammy Rea shares insights gained from navigating male‑dominated industries, supporting women entrepreneurs, and leading diverse professional teams. Known for her collaborative approach and commitment to building strong relationships, Tammy brings a real‑world perspective on how women can claim their space with confidence.

    This session will explore:

    1. The importance of storytelling, presence, and confidence—and why women often undervalue their own experiences
    2. Navigating industries women have traditionally been discouraged from pursuing
    3. How to stop shrinking and start owning the room
    4. Unlearning habits that hold women back, including internalized perceptions of being “too young” or “not experienced enough”
    5. How dressing for success can shift self‑confidence and influence how others perceive us
    6. The power of forging sisterhoods and building supportive networks that elevate women collectively

Through reflection, practical insight, and shared experience, Tammy empowers women to recognize their value, amplify their voice, and build meaningful bonds that support confident leadership and long‑term success.
