Mentorship Program

The CSMPS Professional Mentorship program’s intent is to provide professional service providers and marketers with opportunities for professional growth and education. The Mentorship program matches CSMPS members (mentees) with experienced professionals in the industry (mentors), in a formal pairing for 1 year. The goal is to provide mentees with guidance and support while providing the mentors the opportunity to foster future leaders in the professional services industries, and further develop their leadership capabilities.

Mentee Requirements

Have a career or aspire to have a career in any of the CSMPS service industries (architecture, engineering, construction, development, law, consulting)
Have less than 10 years experience in these service industries
Commit to meeting with their mentor 4 times during the duration of the year long program. Can be virtual or in person, and must be initiated by mentee
Understand the mentee-led nature of the program
Must be a CSMPS member in good standing
Commit to attending the in-person mentorship program events in May and September 2026

Program Timeline & Structure

The CSMPS Mentorship Program runs for 12 months, beginning in May 2026 and concluding in April 2027. The mentor-mentee pairs are selected by the CSMPS Board of Directors and are based on industry sector, level of experience and desired mentorship outcomes.

2025 - 2026 Cohort Applications are Now Closed

The 2025 - 2026 Mentorship Pairings are now underway! The next cohort will launch April 2026. If you are interested in participating in the next cohort as either a mentor or mentee, please register your interest below to receive first notice for next year's program.
